Questions?? what pipe for torque

Right now I am running a .21 ninja with a 2035 pipe and I would like some more pop out of the motor. Restrictor wise I'm running a size 8.
Any suggestions will be helpful.
Thanks Jason

You should have lots and lots of pop. You could try a 2013 pipe, how old is the motor and do you have it tuned right on the low end? please dont take the wrong way just a question. Also how old are the springs and shoes?

I don't no any pipe that can beat the 2035 feel on bottom and keep ur fuel mileage up and still have good top end power so if u need more pop maybe try a gearing change on the center spur gear and go up 2 teeth to get more snap.
Or u can get a 28. I'm surprized u need more power.

Are you using a 16 or 17 tooth bell? The 2013 has way more bottom than the 2035 and about same on top same fuel economy maybe a bit more, But it also depends on the motor, clutch, tune, and gearing. The 2013 and 2035 are my favorite pipes!!

the dynamite 007 pipe will give you tons of bottom but it may ruin run time.

The motor has about two and a half gallons through it the clutch set up has maybe 30 min of drive time (i cleaned it up about half way through that time period)
16/44 is what I'm geared at.
Tuning wise I had a guy help me tune it in.
What 2013 pipe is recomended?

+1 I use the 007 for short track applications but my max runtime drops to 8 mins vs. 9 mins with an 086 on my P5XT. The pipe will give you more than enough torque or "pop", if that's what you're looking for.

I would just try a long header on the pipe you are running. Like a RB 98mm long header or nova 41020 long header. That was always the ticket for me when I needed more bottom end.

Is this the ninja JX 21 or MR 21? If it is the JX, something is wrong. You should have PLENTY of bottom. Even in a truggy the JX has an overpowering bottom end. I would look more to tuning and clutch than the pipe. 2035 should give you the bottom you need.

Racing Jason.....it's your gearing. I know your getting many different answers to your question but I assure you that the most obvious issue is your gearing. A 16 tooth bell will give you more top but totally kill the bottom end. And the 44 spear gear will also kill your bottom but give you more top. Base on your gearing your car is probably running like crap on the bottom. Go to a 13 tooth clutch bell and a 48 spur gear. If you're running the 2035 you should be set, the 2013 awesome as well. But your problem is your gearing.

his gearing is fine; 16/44 is the stock kit ratio for an RC8. The diffs are geared differently than most buggies so the 16 (or optional 17) tooth clutchbells are normal. You could go up to 16/46 if wanted.
