There are better motors out there for a little more money. If you want a good motor look into the werks b5 or the go .21 5 port.

Novarossi N21bf. It's ~$30 more and Novarossi's quality. Can't go wrong.

These motors do run pretty good. Like Mudboger said, put the turbo button and plug and pipe and you have a good little motor. I wouldn't bother with modding it but I would change the front bearing. Mine didn't last long. You should be good to go after that. For a little less money you can go with the Dynamite Mach 21. Do the same to it. Turbo button and I use a 053 pipe and it runs good in a buggy.

The losi 350 runs awesome, it took almost 2 gallons before mine was really broken in. The turbo head conversion makes a big difference in power, but I didn't really like the RE 11 pipe. I got about 30 sec more runtime with the RE 11 but the power seemed really mellow with just slightly more top end. The motor will get 8:30 to 9 min run times pretty easily.
