Ok. Anybody else for bearing removal? And how do you take the piston out?

But question is, is it ok for air to come out around the bearing? And/or how can you tell when that bearing needs replacing?

Ya,the front bearing it might blow a little air since there isn't any oring sealing the bearings, just the seals on the bearing. How old are the bearings? The front bearing takes a beating because it gets slammed against the starter wheel so much. So I would replace if it is 2-3 gallons old.

My advise would be to find someone to help you in person. This is not something that can be done via the internet. Changing bearings and disassembling your engine for the first time without someone present to help you will more than likely lead to you damaging it and then the entire thing may be ruined. Go to your local track and ask for help. Even if you need to offer someone some money to help you it will still be cheaper than having to replace your engine

You really can't, if it is indeed 1 gallon old it is probably fine. What makes you think it is bad beside it leaking when you blow into the engine? If the engine is ran rich on the bottom needle the bearing could seep a little oil. This doesn't mean it is bad.
