Ofna fuel bottle - softning the plastic?

hey i recently bought an ofna fuel bottle and it is great except the plastic is really hard and it is difficult to squeeze the fuel out of. How could I soften up the plastic to make refueling with it easier?

Dont know if it will work, but try boiling it for like 5-10 minutes.

Why do you think it will not work?

because it will get hard again after if cools, its the type of plastic they use...

If you don't have the strength to squeeze
the Ofna bottle, then you should buy a softer
bottle. Maybe you should buy a fuel gun instead?
Just make sure the trigger spring isn't too much
for you. You should be able to hold it open for
at least ten seconds, before your hand starts to
shake.

Check out the O'Donnell bottle. It's soft and so far has stayed consistent for a season and a half.

I know it's not the answer you were after, but it IS a great bottle.

I have some small Ofna bottles and they are super soft. That it was keeps me from having to work out at the gym.

one way to soften it would be to fill it with fuel and put the rubber cap on the nozzle. set it in a warm spot (outside?) for a while. fuel has a tendency to seep through plastic over time and this could soften it up.

When squeezing the bottle if you feel something snap in your groin and you pass gas, that's a sign that the bottle may be a little too strong for you. :sneaky:
