Angry TT EB4 question! please help

Hi,

I got pull start engine : PRO-21BX-R
I want to convert it to either Roto start or with my Starter box.

Can someone help me with what kind of back plate roto start i can put on that engine? Is it doable?

Since its a pull start, the engine is very high, so the starter box wheel does not work, I need to remove the pull start, then lower the engine, and i dont even know if that will work... Help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Call them and explain your situation.... I'm sure they'll have a new back plate for you and I assume you'll need shorter engine mounts to get the flywheel low enough to bump on a box.

Thank you,
I used to have an EB4(rtr) with the pullstart 21 mota, and broke the
pullcord, then decided to go with starterbox method, got a backplate
thru a hobby shop,had to grind a tad(.5-1mm)of the crankpin(which
locked into pullstart mechanism) and Yes, i also needed to lower the
mota for starter box method...good luck....

I thought I posted this yesterday, You will need AN2035-1. That should be the back plate, you may need a new crank as well. to go roto start, just by the Tigerdrive system.

I see that the tigerdrive system is not that expensive... 40$ at the most and its a very good alternative. Thank you for the information!

For AN2035-1 , and a new crank, what should be the cost of that? it looks to me that its gonna a pain getting this beast on the box ...... expensive?

Thanks again all for the replys.
