Cool vid for people that don't get how important pit stops are. I notice it looks like the pit guy the video is based around uses blocks of wood to fuel the car on instead of the starter box. Starter box would be a little scary because I would be worried about the flywheel hitting the starter wheel.

Now all we need is a "How to turnmarshall" video. lol

Little revs are not to bad. Too big of revs can cause the fuel to shoot out of the tank and possibly get on the clutch or air filter and cause a flame out.

You know how I do it. 6.5 seconds is like twice what I need to pit a car.

Very cool video.

No need. Pit crews that splash fuel everywhere, put them self on fire sooner or later...

Great video! I'm posting this on our club forum to help out the new guys (and old guys too).

I also really like that pit lane design with a shelf facing the pit crew. Our local track has a raised rail to put the vehicles on but it is not really wide enough for a starter box so you've got to turn around and go under the driver's stand (and out of the driver's field of view) to restart. That wide lane looks nice too but it is quite a reach to grab a truck for a few pit guys.

That's a perfect way to douse a car with fuel. It's usually good to let go of the trigger when the tank is full.
