Default RC8T LE/CE Conversion from A-main PLEASE LOOK HERE!!

Did anyone else on here get one of these LE to CE converted RC8T? If you did, I have a few questions for ya. It was supposed to be a new LE kit with the CE upgrades seperate.
Did you get all the CE parts?

I am just trying to get some feedback before I make any bad assumptions about my kit.

EDIT: If you purchased one of these kits with the conversion, call A-main and they will get you taken care of. My contact was Shaun @ ext. 7022
He is aware of the few missing pieces that were not included, and is getting everything the remaining pieces shipped out. They are trying to contact the purchasers of these kits, and get the situation rectified.

This is the way a business should be ran.
Thanks,
Stephen

Were there any CE parts missing from your kit?

The kits that I seen was the factory team kit with a CE coversion kit they had to open the box and put the CE parts in the reason they did it was because they couldn't sell the factory team kit when you could buy the CE for the same price so what parts are you missing???

I am missing some little items like the narrow hubs, proper hardware to install the aluminum shock towers, the correct upper arm pills that the CE comes with, and the different ackerman arm that the CE comes with. I'm not sure if one ackerman is better than the other, or if the CE uses the RTR one.

I spoke with AE and asked them about their security stickers being on the box over top of ones that had been cut. The rep @ AE said that no one should have their stickers but them.

The CE uses a narrower hub front and rear. 9mm total narrower overall. The ackerman arm used on the CE is also different and is basically curved like ( instead of the [ shaped one the LE comes with. Supposedly has reduced/ elimated bump steer.

Only reason I know of these differences is my buddy that helped me put it together has a CE sitting on his shelf in front of him.

You are correct on them being called a narrow wheel hex. I work in the auto parts business, and we refer to that part as a hub, so that is what I call them.
No problem on posting this up. That is part of what these forums are here for, besides just ragging and dogging on people. I'm glad Shaun got you hooked up. He was a great help when we spoke, and wanted to get everyone taken care of.
