Default Team Xray XY8 '09 Set-Up

Anyone have a good base set-up for this truck? I am primarily running on a pretty technical track and need more steering. I started with the kit set-up and made a few small changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is for the XT8 not the XY8

I'm running this one now and it's been good for me. http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...=364&setup=xt8
Won't help much if you don't have an active diff. though. Go to the 09 Spec XT8 thread and do a search on "Setup" and there are several options there.

shorten your rear camber links, move them to the outer set of holes on the rear shock tower. Hold on though, if you arent smooth is will get away from you quick

Decrease caster in the front (dots on the inserts DOWN on the front outer hingepins.)

Put it in the middle hole on the outer set or what? I dropped it one on the inner set of holes and it seemed to help a little bit.

And Yes DC...I will see you tomorrow. Koby, you are officially kicked out of our pit

Yes, the middle hole is a good place to start. I think I'm in the 2nd hole down from the top. I got this setup tip from Janson Branham, he also runs his in the outer set of holes. If you watch him, he has all the steering anyone could ask for.
