sirio cl7b big problem !
Hi All,
I am new at this forum but I need a bit help. I own a sirio CL7b long stroke enigne. It has about 1.5 galon. It burns plugs all the time, I even add shrims (2x 0.1mm) to make it "looser" but it stil nothing, engine runs great for 10 minuts and cut off ( turn down) ale the plug is broken. It's perfectly set-ed up by a a-main guy here in poland, it keeps 110 C degrees all the time. I tried to use turbo plugs (OS P3, oS P4, Sirio 6, Sirio 7, SIIM 7, SIIM 8, Novarossi 5, Novarossi 6, RB 6) and after that i tried to use normal plugs ( have 2 buttons) - OS no.8, OS A5, OS R5, Novarrosi C5, novarossi C6 and others. INSIDE the enigne i perfectly CLEAN AND look great, it has great compression. The carbureator has been sealed really well, no leaks. I use ofna jp-3 muffer. I use power safe 25% fuel, 12% synthetic oil but i also tried byron 25% race fuel and it was the same story. Has been broken in by head cycle 9 tanks method. Need photos of inside? tell me i will send them here. Please give me some clue?
In addition I can say that for about half galon after breaking in it runed great. The problems start after that.

it may be running too rich.

nope, it runs good fuel mix. Not too reach not to low.

new to nitro yet you are 100% sure the tune is perfect.
okay, assuming you are correct i would try the hottest plug you can find an os p3 would be a good start,
if it is still acting up i would look at the fuel. did the problems begin about the time you cracked open a new bottle of fuel?

bearing is gone ;/ incredible one of bearing balls "breake in 2 halfs " i have scrathes on piston and sleeve. Tell me now where I can get a bearing and rebuild set because that one is probably dead (scratches). Can't get it why it happend so fast ;| always get about 3 gallons before bearing change.
Tell me what to do, 1st option - new bearing and try to run it, 2nd- engine to waste paper basket, it doesn't make sens to rebuild it full ( piston, slave, conrod) because i payed (new one) 160$ for it. (50$ conrod, 120$ piston + slave)

I didn't look at the pics but if they are just small scratches just a repinch and it will run like a champ. If it has a big gouge it's probably toast.
I charge $28.95 for a Tko ceramic bearing and $37.00 for the rebuild, pinch etc. return shipping included. I think there may be a problem with the block machining on those motors causing it or just terrible bearings. I have seen at least 5 engines just like yours, one with chunks of the balls missing.
