The F1 guy had a bulkhead shear under braking causing both to go flying. They're tethered to that same bulkhead so they went free instead of remaining attached like they were supposed to. Someone missed on the stress analysis that week.

that right there would be hell of a ride. It didnt look like he hit to hard. Thats good. I would much rather crash a nascar at 200mph than crash at 150 on one of those. There head sticks out and stuff. Seems kinda of sketchy to me.

I dunno. I've seen drivers walk away from some spectacular crashes in the formula one style vehicles.

This one is from the Champ Car series... I was watching this race live, and I was 100% certain she was dead. I thought there was no way someone could survive a crash like this. Imagine my surprise when she walked out of her trailer without a scratch!
