FYI Charlie the track owner has enough WC experience in regards to track regulations to build one to specs.

If I am not mistaken this would be his third WC hosting venue, at the nitro party I was watchin the maintenance at the track, and in all honesty it really shows he knows what he is doing to keep the track free from damage considering he had 250 driver at that event and the track showed little wear throughout the practise and racing.

Your right 1000% it is technical and what that means anyone who has had
1/10th scale electric experience will be fine and will enjoy the track layout which i know is 100% of the Americans .

Watch out for Lee Martin. Very accomplished 1/10 scaler and driving a new car (to him) with the 801, you could do worse than put a couple of quid on Lee

worlds is going to be a fuel mileage battle if you ask me the guys that have the fewest stops will do the best to many of these guys are about the same as far as getting around the track goes but some will run 10 or 11 mins like the novas and os motors and alot will not run that long i think this will be the main key to winning

+1

specially with engines going over the 11 mins mark, to run a 10mins qual without the pit stop is a big advantage but i'm not sure people will attempt it.... !!

we'll see

no chance of running 10 and 11 minutes around the pattaya circuit especially in racing conditions against the fast guys .Also i recommend 97T plugs for there motors not nova plugs and also alot of drivers should check out information about how high is the track above sea level this will be a major factor with flame outs .Alot of flame outs at the pre worlds selection race and it came down to tuning to temp including humidity and altitude.many factors you need to look at as we did some testing there with various plugs and motors like novas and os speeds/ ninjas etc etc shimming is also very important

Fuel will be one of the key factors in these conditions; high humidity and nitro fuel are no good combination! I expect to see a lot of 1liter ( gallon) bottles in the pits and the fuel will be stored in cooled and aircondioned containers and rooms. When you leave a large fuel container outside in these conditions you have lost power on before hand!
Nitro fuel is hydroscopic and interacts with the water in the air; high humidity = lot of water to react with the fuel!

So expect to see a lot of nervous fuel suppliers!!
