From outside appearances, it looks exactly how I thought it would look. It's in a ninja JX style crankcase for sure. 21J carb as expected. I'm liking the black head. Blue doesn't go with my paint very well.

We won't know exactly what is inside it until they want us to, but I can take an educated guess that it will have a ninja/speed like DLC coated crank. Sleeve will probably remain a 3 port, but who knows it could be a 5.

We shall see in a matter of time.

I agree with u on it being a 3 port but a 5 port is what I expected. Who knows tho I'm just thinking that the 2060 pipe that's on it would mean it's a top end pipe thats used with a 3 port like the vspec was. I always liked the 2035 on my ninja n hated the 2050 so I never used the 2060. I also like the new case.

I'm just happy the 2060 is on it. At least that means my $300 worth of 2060 pipes won't be totally useless.

The 2060 is actually really good on the ninja too.

The 3 port vs. 5 port thing is really personal preference. I prefer the 3 port myself. For fuel mileage and more bottom end.

My guess is it will be a 3 port.

Ninja is kinda taking of the 5 port side of things

Yep that's what I think too. OS has the right stuff with a 3 port sleeve. The v-spec and speed don't run like any other 3 ports I have seen.

Much agreed! More ports cost more anyways, I feel like a 3 port tunes easier an is less sensitive to tuning when changing pipes.

so. What kind of modifications could be done to the vspec to make it better.

We will go ahead and say durability is a given aka crank pin.

Can't you let me hope they keep it black? Gotta ruin my hopes huh? I hate blue! My paint doesn't look good with a blue cooling head.
