Nope, I have tried like 3 years ago... you have to run in truggy class and the truggies out now, are way to advanced and lighter. Plus the muggy is not as durable as a truggy. The best deal out there for a RC worthy truggy is the LOSI RTR its around $700 and comes with a free 1/36 RTR as well.

Truggys turn so fast now you would just go backwards. It would not be fun for you at all.
