Yep, I'd keep an eye on that 7940 in steering on a truggy. I run one for throttle, but wouldn't trust it for steering, especially in a truggy. It may survive in a buggy, but even that I'm not 100% sure of. The 7940 has been solid for me in the throttle position and the 7950 has been excellent in steering! In the end, the 7955 is still the best value.

Two week I broke a ALU servo in half 7955 put on a new horn everything was perfect very impressed since the initial shock to break a ALU horn in half must have been pretty high was expecting a change out.

Never had problems with my JR servos, ran them for over 3 years and had to replace the plastic gear once in that 3+ years.

I switched over the the Hitec 7950 servos last summer, and they have been pretty good. I just wanted to run "noted" 7.4V.

Now I dont care what servo you use, you still need to make sure EPA and Servo Savers are set correctly.

I dont drive well enough to run anything else. Donkey flippin all over the track and hitting pipes and trying to get the maxium distance on every jump puts alot of un-wanted stress on the servos, so learning how to drive smooth lines and hitting the landings along with the EPA and servo savers will help your servos last a long time. I know guys running JR 9100s and Ace/AE servos for a few years and never broke anything..... So make sure everything is set correctly.

+1 thats what i been saying ! so what if it dont have, titatuim gears ive had great luck with steel gears. ive been running it on my truggy

i recommend the 7955 too... plenty fast for a truggy

i dint know that . but i think the 7954 servo, is good though on the steering.

Its a HS-5925MG

Uh that servo wouldn't last one lap in a 1/8 truggy..
