Hello, as the title says,

i build up speed, (quite alot of speed in my opinion) and about 3/4 of the way it stalls and i can never get to top speed.

i dont know a great deal about nitro cars, i have a 'HSP warhead 2' there is info on google if you are not sure of it.

had it about 3 years.

any help would be great.

Thanks

Turn the high speed needle out (counter clockwise) about a 1/4 turn and see if that helps. The high speed needle is the one with the fuel line connected to it.

High speed needle is the needle on the top side of the carb and lean means it's not getting enough fuel so try and turn that top needle counter clockwise half a turn and see if it helps n if it does but start to choke up a bog instead of dying then go another half a turn n keep going till it starts loading up rich where the engine has alot of smoke trail and has lil top end speed then start leaning it back out till it has a nice combination of power and smoke.

If richening it doesn't help u mite need to charge or replace the glow igniter battery or replace glow plug, u should also check the gas pressure line and the fuel line for any tears or holes cause they could have rubbed the flywheel. If that doesn't help try checking the pressure of the gas tank under water (take fuel line n plug both tips on tank first then submerge under water looking for bubbles n if they do accure tank is bad) if that doesn't help it could be your fuel has gone bad iv had it happen along time ago when I tried running year old traxxis fuel it actually had the same issue new glow plug but engine would go full throttle n just die.

N finally if that doesn't help get urself a new engine cause that one is more then likly toast

u can check for airleaks in the carb n backplate and front bearing or check the pipe rubber seal for tears but more then likly ur not gonna find that to b the issue.
