Clutch Pins Coming Out of Flywheel ?!?!?!?
#4
Well I bought the engine used, but the owner said he had it completely gone thru, new piston/sleeve bearings and rod by a local reputable builder.
Tonight I discovered the rod was broke (I have only run 3/4 gallon of fuel thru it) and the lower rod bearing was hammered. I am suspect the motor was way out of balance.

or, the flywheel became unbalanced due to the pins coming out causing the crank to be unbalanced causing the bearings to fail and ultimatley the rod breaking.
Did you even open it up after you bought it? I know that is the first thing i would have done when i got home.
"oh yeah, it's got only a gallon on it"! ****(opens up engine)**** Damn is the crank supposed to do that? And what on earth is that awful noise? Is that a scratch i see??? ****(face turns red, throws engine across the room)*****
I WANT A REFUND AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
j/k It was definitley out of balance

The fix for the flywheel is just get a new one and the broke rod is just something that happens they can break when they are new or if they are 10 gallons old just buy a new one and put it in don't think there is a need to point any fingers it's just something that happens
