Default engine heat and servos

i have ben using jr standard servos and traxxas 2075 servos for my losi 8 throttle and they keep just stop working can this be caused by the engine heat i felt the side of the servo case and it was warm

Has nothing to do with engine heat. The heat you feel from the servos is from the servos burning up.... In an 8t you need to run a high end servo, no getting out of it . Sure you can run the cheapos but in a couple months time you will spend more on those then you will a high end servo. I personally run Jr 9100 series in mine. I run the 9100s for throttle and 9100t for steering . Put them in 9 months ago, some serious racing and some serious crashes and they still work perfect. You could also go with the Hi-tec 7955s for both, they are a little less expensive and last forever also.

You're servos burning up is caused by the heat from the engine and the servo hitting the chassis on the 1.0

a radio tray sitffer and setting, the throttle linkage so when you go full throttle theres a little gap left to it.

also you can file down the center stock, diff mount so you can mount the carb straighter but i, have tried that doesnt work. so i would remmend to get the split diff alum mount set. so you can mount the carb strighter and the linkage will pull out straigher. and your throttle servo wont burn up.

if you do get the split diff mount, dont forget the 2.0 brake disc cause the 1.0 brake disc wont work .
