I'm s ure there are better chargers out there, I'm actually looking for a better one myself but the good ones cost much more. this one I listed is also 12volt only but i think amain has soem good chargers that are 110volt that will charge lipo, but if you get a cheep charger you'll prob have to buy a balancer seperate.

I found this also. But the second one youll need a power supply.

the second ones price is on point, but as for a power supply, do i need one? or does it also work off of say a car battery for the time being and then add the power supply later on down, cause i manly want this to charge only starter box and maybe later add in a lipo receiver pack. thanks for all the help guys i just have no clue what im looking for when it comes to these batteries and chargers thanks.

A BIG +1:nod: Hyperion all the way! The 0606i will not disappoint. It will charge and balance just about any pack you can find. I use one to charge those exact same starter box packs. It is well worth the $$ for a couple of reasons. One being that you don't need to buy an external power supply, and it can charge many different types of batteries. It is also firmware upgradable via PC. I own a 0606i AC/DC and a 0615i Duo3, and both have been flawless!

If you go with the hyperion, grab this adapter to balance your Protek pack.
