Lets say a Lightning, would I be able to use some parts from my Ofna lx comp or my Revo to make it better?

assuming you break it (which you will) you will be in the market for another 1/8 vehicle.

Not worth it for the price. You'll spend tons of money replacing broken parts...

Yup
I would 10,000 times over have a used quality vehicle than a new Redcat or other off brand

Im gonna stick up for the chea RC brands around. I've got a hyper 7 which i use to race (i'm new and i'm not a very good racer and the hyper 7 was my first ever rc).

I recentl bought a HSP car (i think redcat and hobywing and himoto are all the same) here in Aus. I bought it for one reason and one reason only, so that i could give the car to my cousins/friends/family to drive and not have to worry about them hitting a pole at full speed and smashing my race car into a million pieces. For this reason, i LOVE my HSP. I don't take take care of it at all, i drive it rough, i generally break front arms and such every time i go out. When it costs less than 5 bucks for new front arms, and prety much less than ten bucks for every single other part, how could you really go wrong?

Bottom line, i wouldn't buy it to race or anything, but if you want a car to abuse, then this is the one to get, parts are cheap, and relatively durable and did i mention they are CHEAP !!

Redcat is cheap and cheaply made . It will cost you more in the long run then buying a quality brand and spend a little more up front .
