Default 2wd short course

Does anybody know of a 2wd nitro short course or how I can convert a car like a GT2. I really love the short course look but swear i am never going brushless again, I am nitro to the bone.

You would need a longer custom chassis. Nitro 2wd on short course tires would make you go right back to brushless. It'd be pretty unmanagable.

..is your heart set on a 2wd...if not, look at an Associated SC8 RTR ( about $490 - 500 )

Like a RC10GT to SC10GT conversion?

With the body.

It has no body mounts yet so it sits high and the wheels don't fit but were thrown on just to see how it looked.

Everything is just mocked up right now. I'm using a junkyard dog RC10GT that needed some attention and I'm waiting on parts to finish but should have it done this week.....
I still need to figure out front and rear bumpers but have some stuff ordered that I should be able to use.

I would love to see a class like this take off. I really like my SC10, but I cant stand the sound of lexan bending when driving a flashlight around the track.

Electric racing is good and the trucks look good but they just seem to be missing something. Yes, I do know a brushless set up is faster and easy to use but even if this thing is undriveable on the track it would still be a fun basher and different from what you see/hear everyday.

Mark at Total Control hobbies is making conversion kits for the Mugen MST, Associated GT2, and one other I think the Losi XXXT. You should give him a call he just raced his prototype up at the 1/8 wonder in barona. It did quite well. He has made the mugen chassis accept a buggy or truggy fuel tank so you can get super long run times out of them. Call him I bet he can set you up with what you need.

I am sure you have thought of this, but why not get a SC8?

Another vote for the SC8. By far my favorite vehicle.
