Truggy Tires

I don't want to ask what is the "best" tire going as I don't want to start any flame wars.

So what are some of the more popular truggy tires people are using? I switched to 1/8 scale from 1/10 scale short course and was using Proline Calibers with good results, but 1/8 scale opens up a whole lot of new selections including companies.

Thanks

I run the medium flexx VP Pro Cutoff's just about everywhere. They hold up great, tons of forward bite, do not traction roll in corners, and work on every surface I race on. Even perfectly clean blue groove they grab beautifully. They may look like a I-Beam or Bow-Tie but they are lighter, better balanced and last a lot longer. Way more traction than the Bow-ties too.

Give the JC Crosshairs a try, they grip well and last long.

I have not found track yet that the vp pro tires didn't hook up. They are my choice of tires to run. Between the compounds and how well they last, to me they they are the best.

what type of surface are the VTR calibers working on? I run on indoor clay and want to try something other than JC sevens. I have to say the sevens are really holding up wear wise.
