It sounds like a richen up the hsn 2 hours at a time untill it runs wot ok, then do the fuel line pinch test to check your lsn and reset idle.

Like everyone said, sounds lean on top. I would bet that you LSN is very rich masking the problem.

I would go 4 hours richer on the HSN, and 2 leaner on the LSN. You will likely need to go more, but that would be where i would start. Good Luck

Your best action is to read the tuning bible stickied at the top of this forum. That way you are able to make the needed adjustments on the spot and avoid damage to the engine. Referring to people on here is OK to do for a second opinion, but you're the only one there to actually see what's going on. If you can get around others that have well tuned vehicles it is helpful for smoke/sound/performance reference.

Thanks for the replies. This is the first time running the car in a few days and my first attempt at tuning it. I think I have the HSN under control. I definitely rinchened it and full throttle seems to be working as it should now. Now my issue is getting the low speed correct. It's very slow during the initial acceleration.

If it launches slow...lean the LSN 1 hour at a time until you get a good launch out of it. Once you think you have it, adjust your idle down (it will go up as you lean the LSN) and then pinch the fuel line. If it idles up and stalls in 2-3 seconds....your LSN should be darn close to what it needs to be.

i highly suggest you pick up a copy of trinity/car action's nitro engine tuning book. its a very effective source in helping u understand and take care of your engines makin em run well and thus more enjoyable for you. enjoy the car. its a great choice.

On the pinch test what does it mean if you can go 5 or 6 seconds before it starts to die while pinching.

I'll try this next time. The manual actually goes into this a little.

That means you're too rich, if it dies instantly you're to lean. It should die within 3-5 seconds with a tiny increase in RPM just before it cuts out.

The pinch test is done at idle to test the LSN....so it would be the LSN ;-)
