Default SC8 To Electric Conversion

I have searched this thread and found a few regarding this swap. But no real positive links to buy parts and what to exactly purchase.

So what i am looking for in this fine comm. is,

where to buy the conversion kit?

Does it come with a motor? if not what one to buy?

What Batteries to buy? Hard Case or not?

And yes, i want it to be fast, in both low end and top end.

Anything else i should purchase ahead of time before i do this?

Thanks in advance!!

Here is the electric conversion from AE: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rdware-Package
The conversion kit does not come with the elctronics so you will need to buy a motor/esc combo!
As far as the motor/esc combo there are a couple of choices. The new LRP(http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...r-Combo-2500kv) set up is silky smooth, the tekin systems (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...r-Combo-1900kV) are very good as well. But IMO the Castle 2200 (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Package-2200kV) set up will be the most durable! You do not need a hardcase battery unless your racing organization requires it!

Ha just wait til you price a 5000mah lipo or higher mah rating. your looking at around 200 to 300 washingtons lighter in the wallet for just one battery. Of coarse price varies by brand and type. But you get what you pay for.

I think she's out to lunch about the body because I don't think that there's a different body for the electric version.
