win, win win races at club races, then take on some national races and win there. Network at the races and talk to people. Get your name out there.
Being sponsored is not all about winning though. You need to be a EXCELLENT ambassador of the RC world. Be friendly and helpful. Try to get more people to get into the hobby

win, win win races at club races, then take on some national races and win there. Network at the races and talk to people. Get your name out there.

be kind, carring and helping. Also help on forums like rctech you dont have to be a great driver. Normally sponsors look for helful drivers more than being good but they still would like you to race and finish in top everyone in awhile. Also dont seem so desprite for a sponsor, if they feel you good enough they will contact you, you shouldnt have to contact them.

A hobby shop sponsor is your best sponsor, many different brands to choose from your not tied to just one. You also wontt have to run expert/pro classes, with a chassis sponsor you have to run expert/pro classes, most places and people will require you run them, and especially your sponsor.
