Default Engine won't rev all the way up

Today my engine started acting like it has no power. It's a AE .28 pro with about 2 1/2 gallons through it. It starts right up and idles fine. It's running at about 210-220, and all needles seem to be set well.

The engine just won't rev all the way. It's like I'm only getting half throttle or something. The carb is opening all the way up, but it just doesn't have any power any more after about half the rpm's.

I have no idea what's wrong. Any help would be great.

after 2 Gs of fuel the motor needs to be retuned, and if you changed plugs this may be the problem as well if diff brand or heat range, check that first a cold plug will couse that, if not tuned for thst plug

try fatning up the high end needle might be running out of fuel, also check your pressure line to your tank, also a good idea to check tank just rip it all out and submerge it under water blowing air into the pressure line with fuel line blocked off if there is airbubles thats where your problem is.

checked the tank, and there's no leaks. I tried running it richer also today and that didn't really help any. It kind of sounds like a 4 stroke while it's running, so I leaned it out and that didn't help. I made sure my idle and low end were set right and it past the line pinching test and the idle then full throttle test.

The pinch isn't what it was, but it still has decent pinch.

I borrowed a glow plug the other day and never got a chance to run it until today. I've been running hot plugs until this one and I'm pretty sure it was a medium. Could that be causing my problem.

Sell that engine and buy a new one...trust me...that Pro .28 was my first mill and was a HUGE pain in the butt! Not a fun engine to learn to tune on.

Start out checking the simple things first. Try a new glow plug. Get a hot one like you were running. See if that doesn't help. I had the same problem one time ended up just being the glow plug

The engine is running too cold. Lean it out until it starts to run well and put away your temp gauge.
