Nope it's discontinued. They made a SS kit, you may be able to find it on ebay.

I raced a Hell Fire like 5 years ago, it was a decent truck, for the money theres lots of better options, Do you already own one, or considerring a new purchase.

I would recommend against it though. Peeps at my club have been dropping them like they're hot as soon as they got them on the track. Fragile and heavy, not two words that ring well together.

Your "outdated" 8T 1.0 is twice the truggy that the HellFire is.

I own an RTR HellFire that's been upgraded to the SS. It just sits and collects dust.
It can't come anywhere near my MBX6T.

I think he was asking about it not your opinion.

It was only dogged because there was no factroy drivers.

I had a hellfire, brought it over the Losi 8T.... The truck is not built for racing, and HPI never pushed it to be a racer. It is strictly a basher. Its not durable, it handles like crap, it weights 75lbs. And no you cant find a kit new.

Don't bother, the hellfire has diff issues, any good big block engine will shred the diffs.

It don't need factory drivers thats funny seem so many need factroy drivers to tell how setup the car.

I raced mine hellfire fragile on what part I guess breaking servo saver and body is fragile. The brothers Lightning he had broke so many parts compared to the hellfire. Mine weighted under 9 lbs jammin and lightning weight was more.

well lets see, the arms are brittle as glass and the diffs are soft as butter. Also the outer hinge-pins have a nasty habit of dropping out.

I would sooner recommend a smartech than a Hellfire.

The hellfire was one of the lamest attempts at a truggy to ever plague the class. Tell your friend to STAY AWAY!! It's useless for racing and just about that bad for anything else. It is extremely fragile, weighs a ton and handles like a dump truck.
