I'm a big fan of the K&N air filter recharge kit oil for full size cars. I spray on and work in well with a plastic bag then soak up the excess with a bit of TP. Works great and comes right off with some dawn and water so you can reuse your filter foam over and over (until it is shot obviously).

I have heard rock oil (sold by TKO) is good oil and is also washable.

I personally don't have the patience anymore to reuse my filters. I just buy pre-oiled filters and toss them when they're done.
I didnt like the Mugen filter oil. It is expensive and works strange. I use losi per-oiled filters and if I need more oil I use the Kyosho blue filter oil. It hasn't let me down yet.

+1 on not reusing air filters. They are cheap ins on my expensive mill.

I like the Mugen oil. It's water thin so it's very easy to apply. Then gets tacky after a few minutes. I don't reuse filters. They are cheap enough to just replace after every club race, or run. I am liking the Lucky 7 filters, good stuff. Once I use all the Mugen oil I will be trying the Lucky 7 pre oilled. If it's as good as there filters it will be great.

As many of you, I also like the Mugen oil. And no reusing air filters here, too. Engines are way to expensive to cut costs in this department.
In my area P-S-R filters are quite affordable. They come with a pink filter oil. Not bad so far, but I prefer the super-sticky red Mugen oil.

It goes on very thin, much like water. Then tacks up. It's amazing

it was originally designed for motocross, adapted to rc.

Thank you JB for hooking me up lol

I have been using BelRay motorcycle filter oil and it works great. Sprays in thin, tacks up to the point that you can touch it, pull your finger away and you have oil strings attached. Been using it on my motocross bikes for years, great stuff. The BelRay filter cleaner works like magic. Soak the filter, wait 5 or 10 minutes then rinse and all the oil and dirt washes out like water.

I use Belray as well. Stinks like no other, but is the most tacky stuff I've found.

Thanks for all the input guys. I also saw VP-PRo has the air filters for cheap. LIke $13 for 10 or 15 filters. Thats cheap enough to use 'em and toss 'em. Maybe I will pick some up. Ther tires and other items are awesome so I'm sure the filters are good.

Kal-GArd products are great I use all the other stuff BUT the air filter oil so I will give it a try.

Is the lucky 7 oil tacky , or just like oil and is it washable with dish soap and water?
