So I picked up a MIP "Heavy" 3 Shoe clutch set, and i'm not convinced it a heavy spring, so I did some research. My "Heavy" clutch kit I got from Amain came with 3 carbon shoes and 1 spring.

When I called MIP they said their Heavy spring kit comes with 2 springs. and their light uses one. Makes sense right. But when I went on MIP's site to double check it shows

Their heavy clutch kit shows using 1 spring. Part # 1633
Thier light clutch kit shows using 2 springs. Part # 1632

On Amain Website website

They list the MIP Heavy clutch, shows the single spring their part # 1633
They list the MIP Light clutch, shows the 2 spring kit and their part # 1634


So bottom line I have checked 3 sources and nothing has matched, MIP's website doesn't even have a 1634 part number and I can't get ahold of anyone that knows what they are talking about.

Any help here.

When we ran the clutch setup years ago, we would take and connect the spring two more coils "tighter" making the spring "heavier". That would help with a later clutch stall. This was on the single spring unit.
