Default motor problems help

i just got my 8 back from the hobby shop after they worked and tuned my motor the guy at the shop drove the car and it started right up and drove great idle great everything throttle linkadge is set to
i get it home and i can start it rev it up get it to temp then it idles fine drives for a minute then i get on brakes and it shuts off but when the hobby shop guy drove it it didnt die when he got on the brakes it seems like my motor only runs good for other people and just doesnt like me
what should i try

check the throttle linkage ...it may be not set right ...when its at neutral ...try applying the breaks and watch the carb barrel ..see if when you hit brakes it moves in a little more ..just a guess good luck

+1 also if your only using one, throttle coller a rubber band or a thottle return spring will help it from closing to much.

I had the same problem once it would start up run fine for a couple minutes
and when i hit the brakes it would die. found it to be the clutch bell bearings.
after they warmed up they would just grab.

new shoes new bearings new assebly basicly when i apply breakthe carb slide does not close any more than idle position
