Default Novarossi carburettor on wrong side

Hi,

I just bougth this Novarossi engine:

The carburator is on the wrong side and when I install it on my XB808 it doesnt seem to fit right. I am new to this so please help

hi have had no experience with that motor but is there any reason why you cant take the carby off and turn it around?

To be honest I have never even started a nitro engine in my life let alone change the carburettor. I will try if I know its possible

What you need to do is loosen the pinch bolt that holds the carb on the motor. Then gently pull the carb off and turn it the right way. Make sure not to tear the O-rings on the carb when you pull it on and put it back on.

put oil (non petroleum , synthetic) on any area where there is an oring when reassembling . what kind of engine ? does it hapen to be novarossi n21r limited?
