Exclamation online bearing supply?

I'm searching for some place to buy bearings cheaper than at the hobby stores, and I ran across this place:

http://bearingsdirect.com

Has anyone used them? Are there any other suggestions for buying bearings online?

That bearing store is rather expensive...

Try one of these stores:

www.avidrc.com

or

http://www.4chobbysupply.com

Both are reputable and I have ordered from both. They both have dollar bearings too.

Boy you weren't kidding on the expensive part.. WOW..

4c is good for sets, avid makes good bearings, Ready Rollers, and don't forget about Answer RC USA.. All offer excellent parts and customer service..

I love the Avid Bearings. And for the clutch I run TKO bearings from Amain or Carolina's RC for $2.99.

I've always run Avid, but must agree that Answer RC has impeccable service.

I've heard that the Ready Rollers CB bearings fit very tight to the crank shaft.. I've had problems in the past with other brands slipping causing premature bearing failure.. I have not run the Ready Rollers yet.. SO, I cannot say..

I will add that I get 2-3 race days out of the answer CB bearings.. And, i have 3 sleeves of answer so it'll be a while before I try out the Ready Rollers..
