500 was determaing the cost of a roller. it may not be a huge difference, still wear on tires and cvds as well as other drive train parts is nice to be more evenly distributed when balancing. on a 2k race machine its worth spending $25-$100 to balance tires and minamize wear + make a car handle better

I guess it depends on the clay you use.. Mine dried up in about 3 days.. After it all dried up I read on here that alot of people glue the edges to keep the clay from coming out..

I found a Losi model at a reasonable price so I grabbed it.

Thanks for all of your responses.

Thanks,
I guess every little bit helps and anything that will make my car handle better can't hurt,I'll be making another investment soon it looks like.

I use the Dynamite with ceramic bearings. Works great. Also if you look close, it appears that the Dynamite and Hudy are the exact same.

Dish.. It dried up.. I was using Play-Doh. Haven't rebalanced since then.. I need to get modeling clay, it won't dry out as easily, and won't require glueing the edges for it to stay put.
