Hey bro... Just a heads up... And your mileage may vary, but I wouldn't dismiss the revolutions based on your experience with another companies bearings.
Myself and alot of my close racing buddies have been using the Revolutions in ALL sorts of environments and have NEVER had a failure like the one you describe.
As a matter of fact I've just never had one have a "failure" at all... They just get gritty over time like any other bearing and need to be replaced.
Just my .02... I know I couldn't be happier than I am with these Revolutions.

thanks for the heads up, to be honest, i liked how the revolutions freed up my drive train and how the car felt smoother but i didnt like how they didnt last longer, i had to change 3 bearings after 3 quals.
i might try David's revolutions and see how they work. for the 2010 WC, i know i will need many sets since i will have 15 days of free practise and a week of racing. i will have enough time to try all sorts of bearing sets
cheers
Ali
