If you're happy with the truck I'd say go for it. The engine really doesn't look too bad to me(trust me I have seen MUCH worse). I really don't do monster trucks anymore so I don't know what they are going for these days. It's your money, but I wouldn't worry about the engine too much. You never know when buying used so you do have to be willing to take the risk that it won't run. If you're willing to take that risk, it seems to be a good deal. My 2 cents.

BTW if it were me, I would pass on the Revo all together and grab a truggy.

Yea that motor already has the dreaded OS rear of the piston chip. I love OS engines but they need to start using a buster exhaust system or something because those giant single exhaust ports they use do a number on the pistons. As far as is the truck an overall good deal I would say no because the chip in that spot gets worse and gets there fast. That chip has been the end of 2 of my old v-spec pistons/sleevs.

Guy ended up saying hes going to keep it, made my decision alot easier. Now im on the hunt for a revo 3.3. Let the search begin! Thanks for your help guys.
