AKA Grid irons Soft or Super Soft if its cold outside, they hook up the best I have ever seen when the track is blue groove and hard packed. The track you are describing I would use cityblocks or caliber's

i have been running holeshots in the rear and bowties in the front and it has been working great. also ran the stock losi tires and they have been good too.

ok 90 degrees outside the track is blue grooved, what tire would you use?
say its 80 degrees tracks a little loose hard and dry what tire would you use?

You can almost get the JConcepts blue Crosshairs to work anywhere. Probably the best all around tire available.

City Blocks or Grid Irons depending on the abrasiveness of the track.

I run crimefighters or Cityblocks in med. compound. Also like cityblocks up front and I beams in the rear if I need the rear to rotate around more.

Either caliber m2 all the way around or city blocks front and ibeams rear (both in soft) I like the calibers on almost every surface except indoor all clay.

Citi Beam combo works awesome when new....but once the Citi's fall off the combo starts to hurt you more then help.

I really like Caliber's on certain tracks unfortunately they don't last terribly long.
