The only place I've seen them is on-road for long mains. Off-road it's just one more thing to brake. Take a pass.

In pretty much all of the pictures I've seen of Drake's Losi, he's running the Novarossi cooler. Could be hype, but there's possibly some validity to the product if he's running one in competition.

Just a thought....

Using the search and reading the found topics would have given you some answers.

This topic does give some answers Nitro fuel cooler?

my question is Drake ran a cooler in Silver State last year and was getting 14 min per tank. What happened to that? Now hes pitting around the 10-11 mark

I can see it working in off road nitro as well, alot of fuel sloshing going on just like that 3D nitro heli in the test, alot of heat going into the tank over a long run. I guess it depends on how long of a run you normally have in a qual or main and how much you want to spend on a cooler as to whether or not it's worth it to you.

i think a fuel filter pretty much does the same thing.

The cooler goes on the pressure line for the tank, it's different from a fuel filter in function.

Uhm, yes - but I believe his point is to use a fuel filter as a cooler, like we did back in the days before the coolers were designed.

I run the RB Cooler... I gain no more than 20-30 seconds on tank.. thats all.. think the most people get- With proper testing and (not.. some bullcr*p) is max 40 seconds.. I think it was. They are a bit of a bling thing tbh...
I got one cheap so tried it.. and meh still use it but you dont gain alot from it.. at all tbh.. but its all personal views.. suppose...
