Default 808 NEED MORE STEERING

It's understeering when I am braking and want to take corner and when I'm trying to turn I use full throttle, and it's suddenly spin and lose the grip and it's oversteer. So it's really unpredictable.

I use 7/5/2 diff oils, like the basic setup, and 600 (F) and 350 (R) shock oils

it's setuped like the basic.
EDIT: I've move rear arms forward & now it's really agressive but still understeering without throttle.

Please help. The surface is clay. Maybe I should use 5/5/2? or 450 shock oils. I don't know. Thank's for help.

Before you change the diff oil, and I think you are going inthenplate right direction, try lowering the ride height in the front by 2mm. See how that works. Or try a stiffer spring.

Default Here is my setup.....

40 wt front with 1.3 pistons. This allows it to turn but still avoids bottoming out in jumps....

40wt rear with 1.4 pistons. Put the rear a arm back in the middle location.

diff oil 5,000 f, 7,000 c, 3,000 r.....

Adjust your brakes so that the rear is strong, but the front just barely engages. For a clay track try the revolvers in m3 compound.

One size lighter swaybar in front 2.2. The stock front is too stiff.....2.4..

Full droop. Remove droop screws. Inside hole on a arms, and stock tower location.

Just try it.......

Default almost forgot....

I also use blue grey springs f and r......and under the steering plate use 2mm spacers to raise the inner steering rods location a bit. I think the stock steup is 3 or 4.

Sounds like your front tires are sliding under braking tires are locking up .... try less front brake ... more rear droop .... softer front springs ... more toe out on front ,,, more neg. camber in front ,,,, more neg camber in the rear ,,, m3 tires front,,, m2 tires rear ,,,remember one change at a time

7 in the front diff seems too thick to me, I'm using 5-5-2 give it a try. I would also soften up your front anti-roll bars, I did this to mine and also use a hard anti-roll bar in the rear.

What rear roll center are you running? If you are still running the kit setup go down one hole on the rear camber link on the tower this should help the problem sum. Also what deg. of anti squat are you running? You can try more but some times this can really free up the car going in but sometimes it is to much for peaple because when you are off throttle the car can be very unstable. I would stay with your std diff setup for now and just try these few minor changes. Hope this Helps

When I switched to the aluminum ackerman Plate and the front Active diff on my 808 it had more steering than I knew what to do with. Its a big investment but worth every penny

try less droop on front? maybe. i have 0 droop on front alot in rear.
also if your too low in front diff oil you could go a little higher for more on power steering to sacrifice some offpower steering when you go higher. and maybe some more anti squat? keep those front wheels planted on power.

you could take out front droop, raise rear ride height,,stiffer rear springs and or shock oil,,,harder rear tires softer front tires ,,, one change at a time

which gear are you running in your active? I was running the 43, just switched to a 41 on a team driver reccomendation.... not sure I like it.. 41 seems to make the car push coming out of corners... I didnt notice that prob when I had the 43 on.. Just seeing what everyone else is running... Im still on the 09 spec car..
