I've done it once. Had a spec3 I wore out in a muddy race, it was just broken in and was completely without compression after the race. My LST2 had more than 3lbs extra weight. Well anyway, I took the piston out of my worn out SH28 and it fit just puurfect. Great compression right from when the piston clears the exhaust, and just the tiniest of pinch.
