Default What motor to buy????(help)

Hi guys, im new to nitro rc and was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on what .21 motor to buy?. I've bought a sirio cl7b for my first, fast motor but it is a little heavy on fuel. was looking for something that is good on fuel and that won't hurt the pocket to much.
Any ideas would be a big help.......
thanks

OFNA Force JLR.21.

Try PM'ing Maximo, he can hook you up with a modded one, that hardly needs break in for a very reasonable price.

You can't go wrong with the EB Mods JS21. Ed's quality and know-how is renowned. That's a great motor at any price. It just happens to be very affordable.

I just bought a new Reedy .21 for $200. I've heard good things about it. I've also heard good things about the Werks b5

But since he said he is on a budget, I like the Team Orion 3 Port Standard... goes for less than $200 and I got 9+ mins from that engine on my buggys... And has plenty of power! Plus it is very durable and dependable also...

Annnnnd, its on sale http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Standard-Plug

the B5 seems to be a killer engine right now! and for the price its hard to pass up. 200 bucks for an engine that will keep up with any ninja, vspec, and other top engines. mine will be here next week

check out the B5 thread. theres a lot of good info in there about it.

These alpha engines do seem to hit pretty hard at the track I must say and I'm not easily impressed. They seem to have all of what the nova engines have and then some. Just take your time breaking them in they are very tight from what I have been told.
