Hudy Handles Standard to Metric
 

Can anyone tell me if you can drop metric replacement shafts on the hudy handles that were originally bought standard.

Anyone??? If had to take a guess I think they will drop in. Any thoughts.

If I had to guess I would also say yes... but I'm not positive. Call RC America and ask... (the XRAY/HUDY importer) They are VERY helpful folks.

Yes, the shafts are the same diameter.

Thanks guys. I called rc america and they said it should work.

Feel better now that you guys posted up. I chanced it and ordered 5 new metric shafts a couple of days ago.

Just an FYI to anyone that will have to do this in the future.

The 1.5mm and 2.0mm shafts slide right in on the smaller handles.

The 2.5mm shaft slides right into the bigger handles.

The 3.0mm does not fit unless you do some mods. I drilled the the top of the handle to get the right fit. If fits perfect now but its useless cause the Mugen does not use a 3.0mm hex wrench.
