Pipe and Fuel question Picco Evo3
I was going to use a OS VG 21 (I asked about pipes for it about 2 weeks ago) my jammin but I got a good deal on a New Picco P7R EVO3 .21 tonight so I am going to use it instead.
So I guess that I am back to the pipe question. The track that was have at the longest point has a straight of about 115 feet. It also has a few shorter straights with lots of jumps and short tight "S" curves. I am sure that there is no "Super Pipe" that can do it all but I would like some options from more experianced people to guide me on this as I am still new to the race scene part of this.
Also, I have about 4 new gallons of Byrons Gen2 30% fuel. will this Be ok for this engine or do I need to buy a different head shim for it so it will be compatible with this fuel.
Thanks for the advice and help

On my evo2 I run an 086 pipe. I'd imagine they are pretty similar. Maximo I'm sure can chime in. He knows his stuff.
He always says run the picco plugs on piccos.

I have a clockwerks modded evo 2 and have run the 086 and a jp-4. I prefer the jp-4 but again its a engine modded for more torque so for me its a good balance. As far as the 30% nitro you should be good to go. I run 30% O'Donnels and it works great and yes stick with the ofna/picco plugs in the picco engines.

You'll be glad you got the Evo 3 over the OS Vg FOR SURE......Significantly better motor in every aspect.
As others have said the 086 for pipe and Stick to the Ofna/Picco plugs....you Wont be disappointed.

The Picco 069 is a good choice as well.
JP3 also works well.
You can still get the Trinity/Picco 069 pipeset for fairly cheap. Very broad, smooth torque curve with reasonable top end as well.

I have had several evo2-3 the best pipe I have found for the stock motors is the werks 2013 best all around pipe for the motor if the bottom is too much you can tame it with a jp 4 and maintain the topend on a 5 min qual you should use a hair over a half tank on 30% nitro
