Default clutch spring question

on a 3 shoes clutch system does the stiffness of the springs wear out with time and maintenance? i have changed motors a few times and it seems like i am constantly taking the clutch shoes and springs on and off. am i doing any harm to these springs or do they retain there tension pretty well?

Depends how you do it, take your time with one of those little clutch tools and your probably not. If you've got a screw driver and pliers well then probably.

A good rule of thumb for clutch springs is to change them every gallon of fuel.
