Default WICH ENGINE????????

Hey what's up? Basically I have $280 to spend on a new mill for my new RC8T. I want Power and for that reason the O.S. 25 is at the top of the List. What. 21 is even close to the performance of a 25 or a 28 ?

A good .21 will outperform, because you'll spend more time pointed in the right direction with the tires moving the same speed as the vehicle is traveling. Grab the Werks B5 and the 2013 pipe, with discount coupon at A-Main it should be in your pricerange.

If you want power than go for the bigger engine but you better be able to make good use of it. Nothing will compare to overall displacement. I love the power of .28's but they suck the gas and do take quite a toll on the truck, twisted driveshafts broken axles etc. That new os .25 should be a great compromise. Personally I like os engines that are top in my book. If you look around you should be able to find a vspec in your price range or wait and see what os releases to replace the vspec it's bound to be a great mill. I know I'll try one.

I would also recommend taking a look at the EB Mods JS racing engine. Pair it up with a O.S. P4 glow plug and a Dynamite 086 pipe and the motor will rock. It is a relitively new engine but people who have run it are very happy and even in a few months time the engine has put a great showing in terms of racing results. I don't think I have heard one complaint on this motor. The stock motor costs about $230 at Amain and according to reviews is comparable to the highier cost engines. They have 3 different motor choices: stock, race prep (Broken in and inspected by EB Mods), and Mod (Broken in, inspected, and fully moded by EB Mods). The best pipe as of now is the Dynamite 086 pipe (Or other manufacters equivilent) and costs about $50 at Amain. I know for my next engine I will most likely be picking this one up.

The Werks B5 is also a awesome motor and is only $200.

As it has been stated already..

Werks B5 with 2013 pipe $285 after discount.
Alpha + F850 with Aplha plus pipe $275 ish..
Ofna JL .21 with lapped piston and JP3 pipe $275ish..

All would be good options and all seem to have extremly good results. If you have one these pipes already get the engine that matches and save yourself some money and be rippin in no time..

Yo Chris, didn't you run Sirio stuff in the past? If so, the Werks B5 and 2013 would be a good choice. The Werks engine is Sirio made. They really do rip! For $200 you can't beat it. Make sure you use a 2013 pipe with it though as that is the pipe that really makes them come alive. Perfect fit for your truggy, and will get better fuel mileage than that OS .25 and cost you less. Or go with a v-spec. They can be found for under $300 some places.

Yup, it's been said and I'll say it again...Werks B5 and 2013 pipe. With Amain discount code of $25 off $250 or more, the total shipped is only $270, use the $10 bucks and buy a plug, Werks #5, OS P3 or P4, OD 97T. I have run an OS Speed and an OS 28XZ in my RC8T so I understand both ballistic speed and ridiculous power, the Werks combo gives the best of both worlds.
