I use this spring.

One end hooks around the throttle arm and the other go around the HSN. You can also adjust the tension by cutting some off and bending a new end.
You can find them on ebay with just the spring. Dynamite makes the exact same thing.

I've been using the same one for years.

Or you can do like most and use a small hair rubber band or something.

Are you talking about the springs that go between the brake shoes?

I have the throtte return spring. thats not the problem i have to keep greasing my brake cams. When you install the springs do they go between the servo horn and cam or between the cam and back side of the linkage

The shoe springs would work if it were not for the linkage getting stuck on the brake arm with the loop in it.

thats a throttle return spring. but i have a feeling thats what he ment, there is a brake return spring tho too. It just sits on the linkage that connects to the carb ball(at least on losi)

if your talking a throttle return spring DO NOT use one, get a rubber band instead and wrap it on the ball of the carb and around the carb, just try to keep the rubber band level so there in no Resistance in the carb from pulling it at an angle. using the spring will eat into the carb boot eventually.

Here's a cheap alternative...those oldschool ballpoint pens that have a button at the top have a spring in them. just look in your junk drawer and you'll probably fine one. Cut the spring to suit your needs.

what about a small piece of fuel tubing. i am wondering if you are treating the symptom and not the cause. can u post a pic of the area. greaseing the cams seems to be worse as it will collect mega ammounts of trash on it.
