Default Help with HPI Firestorm g3.0

Hey folks. Hopefully someone can help out here. I just picked up a Nitro Firestorm and have it dialed in except for one thing. I cannot access, with any type of slotted screwdriver, this adjustment needle. My high speed is perfect...WOT keeps the temp around 240-245 in grass, idle is perfect as long as it doesn't sit for more than 10 seconds, then it will spit raw fuel, bog down and die. I really need to get at the LSN and I don't feel like taking the entire hot engine off every time I need to make a 1/10 adjustment. I have bent sheet metal, .020" shim stock etc to try to get in there and it is really a pain.

Suggestions?

Thanks.
