I can see where ROAR are coming from with baning the proline body as it has got a FLAT rear deck and is starting to resemble a truck as where the TQ SX8 has a completely sloped rear deck.....but apart from that i cant see any other reason it shouldn't be allowed....if so then maybe proline will modify their body so that it has a sloping rear deck instead of a completely flat deck. also for the same reason i personally dont believe the new JC Punisher body will be legal.

But if ROAR is just banning these bodies because they dont like the look then thats just ridiculous and plain out wrong.

If you look at the attached picture you'll see what i mean, as the proline bulldog body is the only body on the market today with a flat rear deck.

ROAR do not govern the worlds event, IFMAR do....complete different set of rules.

I seeing that banned cab forward buggy bodies doesn't that give certain manufacture advanage that used them in 2009 nationals? Wouldn't that be fair to let everyone use this design to level the playing field.

I now see banJConcepts Prototype Buggy Punisher Body just came out it's banned too.

Yes the 1/8 buggies DO NOT look like any 1:1 vehicles so how can roar even try to use rule.

I don't see that body giving anyone a significant advantage...

OK fine - - So ROAR just govern just one US race a year.

So buy whatever body you like to run at ALL the other events, just be prepared to have an old outdated 4 year old body to run one of the biggest events in the country.

hahahahahahahaha -

AGAIN - ROAR DO NOT SUPPORT RACERS. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN AGENDA........ LOVE IT

Do a majority of you enjoy making mountains out of mole hills?? It sure seems that way.

If you are not a ROAR member, the rule change has zero bearing on you. You will not be participating in any event this will be enforced so please move along.....

On an unrelated note......Some of you really need to work on you writing skills......At least try and proofread

NO NO NO - they will be required to race in a racing suit. And the fat drivers that cant fit into a ROAR approved suit will be DQed.....

IF it wasn't a gain in performance then why the push going to it. Why the change to the cab forward design and testing that show slight gain in track times??????????????????? Theres a reason why Losi used this designed with the 2.0 buggy
