Can u use regular engine oil OR K&N (automotive) air filter oil?

any air filter oil will work.

i wouldn't use regular engine oil . Any good air filter oil would work . I use pj 1 motorcycle oil in a spray can & it works great . Been through prob . 30 gallons of fuel between my engines & my sons engines with no air filter related failures .

the only diffrence in air filter oils, some are more sticky than others but i would remmend the k&n air filter, oil thougth it works really good. collects a lot of dirt.

Kalgard has a great Foam Filter Oil......and a superb Filter Cleaner.

I would atleast use some sort of Foam Filter oil from a moto shop or a specific RC filter oil. They are more tacky and they a specifically design for foam filters.

+1 on the kal-gard foam filter oil and cleaner

I recommend either Lucky 7 or Mugen filter oil.

I've used K&N air filter oil for a season now, and I love it. A can lasts a really long time, and it seems to do the job.

I am sick of paying 4 bucks for a little bitty bottle of oil.

I use Bel Ray foam filter oil. I bought a quart of it at a local motorcycle shop for about $8.

its not to sticky or think?? i still have some from racing motocross that i never used because i was having problems with it not letting enough air threw, but if it works for this i might use the last bit of it.

I have used Bel Ray for a couple of years now without issues. Give it a try since you have some on hand. If it doesn't work for you then look into trying another air filter oil.

+1.. PJ-1 is awesome.. The stuff they send with RC style filters seems way to thin to me.. Not nearly as sticky as PJ-1.
