I found the Bel-Ray so sticky I can't clean the filters out. It gets all over everything and feels yucky.

I use Bel ray put the filter in a plastic bag saturate the filter and then squeeze the filter in a paper towel to get rid of the excess oil. To clean my filters I wash them in naphtha and they come out looking like new.

Exclamation

I like rock oil of all the oils I tried. It washes out with water and does the job

I use Bel Ray and to clean it, I use PJ-1 foam filter cleaner in spray can. Perfect combo!

I need to get some cleaner.. Cause these HB filters are freakin expensive, and no one is replicating them yet..

I used some Kal Gard this weekend for the first time...It worked great. Not sticky at all and cleaned up nice.
