Default Do dents & dings hurt ur pipes performance?

I have a few pipes that have lil dings in them n I was wondering if it will change a pipe dramatically. My 2013 has a lil bit of a flat oval curve to the bottom of it and I wanna no if it will still work ok?

I haven't seen the thread lately but it's easy. Fill it with water, plug it, put it in the freezer a few days and it'll pop right back in place.

anytime you dent a pipe it effects performance so the answer is yes . I have popped dents out of pipes by using the freezing method mentioned above .

Yes it does matt , if the bottom is flattened out then performance will definitely suffer . What happens is that it could crack the divergent cone and it plugs the reverberation (tuning) holes that are engineered into the pipe .

Be very careful with the 2013 and the freezer , that thing is thin and will pop out easily !! But if the underside of the pipe is flattened out the freezer trick will not save it .

Do not leave it in freezer for days. Just check it frequently and pull it out if dents pop out.

Or just buy a new pipe

I've seen motorcycle pipes blown out with a little air pressure and heat. This might work on a thin RC pipe??

Lol If it still works decent why not use it more right haha. Houston I think I'm gonna just use my new 2013 n use the beat up one for my beat up engines. I don't need my fms running cheap stuff.
