Default Which Truggy?

I'm going to be getting a new truggy in the next couple of months and I was looking for advice as to what to get. I have a CEN TR Arena now but I've only gotten in two races with it and the front end got destroyed in head on collision, don't get me started. I liked the truggy, but I've decided to get something new that is capable of competing, rather than pouring money into the CEN to try and get it to keep up.

I'm thinking about a Hot Bodies D8T, or the Losi 8T 2.0. So if money was no object which one would be the best as far as performance, maintenence, and ease of obtaining parts. Not that money is no object, but just for kicks and giggles.

i would go with mugen over any of them that are out right now (OD Z01T when the new one is out) or the HB D8T for the price and handling. the losi is great but parts wear way quicker than mugen and it looks like the mugen is the truggy to beat right now.

Losi For The Win!! I love mine and would recommend it to anyone! It truly is an amazing truggy! It is a ton of fun to drive and is consistently fast on pretty much any track without many changes to it's box stock setup. Right now there is a $150 rebate on the Race Roller too! Can't beat that deal!

yes, mugen is great, but a jammin x2 is tough as nails, and very capable- at $400, as opposed to $600. If I could afford to, I would own an mbx6t, I think I MAY like them even more than my jammer, but she's fine for now.

oh and, I've seen MANY, MANY more losi (1'o, and 2'o) truggies snap and pop than ANY other brand. I don't hate losi---it's just what I've seen.

i have a jammin x2 and i hit a losi head on when he crossed lanes down a straight away we were both at wide open throttle. i finished the race and he had a broken front arm and the knuckle was broken also. running an X2 for forever and i have only had to replace one front arm, my fault for breaking it.

I'm not going to bash on jammin too much because I loved mine when I ran it, but my jammin trucks broke much more than my losi stuff does. The X2 is also kind of a dated design. Still a capable truck, but not the latest tech.

If I were buying now, I would still pick the losi. But mugen and hotbodies would be right there with it.

why is it every one just goes off and fails to answer the question which was losi or hotbodies truggy not to hear about all the others on the market so to answer the question i would go losi there fast even for a novice driver

if your a novice driver i would remmend ethier a rc8t or a hot bodies d8t since i heard from many people that they are easier to drive than most truggys.

but if you have a lhs i would get a , rc8t championship edition comes with all the hop ups and i know, a couple of guys who run the rc8t and i havnt heard bad things ,about it at all and lhs, carry there parts too. and the price isnt bad at all as for how, it drives i think handles netural and kind of aggresive .

I've got the 8ight T 2.0 RTR. GREAT kit and comes with everything.

It'll give you a vehicle to hone your skills and then you can upgrade to the 2.0 roller!

Good luck, they're all great fun.
